In the traditional DiSC® format, a participant completes a separate assessment for each module, such as Workplace, Management or Agile EQ. The results are usually provided in the form of a detailed
PDF report, which is then debriefed with a facilitator. In this format, participants can only see their own profile, while learning about colleagues’ styles typically happens later during a facilitated team workshop. Guidance on working with others is also more general and does not take into account the specific dynamics between individual colleagues.
Catalyst™ works differently. The assessment on the platform covers multiple modules, so when a new module is added, participants do not need to answer a large number of new questions each time. All results are stored in an interactive, personalized environment, where information is presented in short, accessible sections, making the learning experience more engaging and easier to use.
One of the key advantages of Catalyst™ is that participants within the same team or organization can see each other’s styles and priorities, compare profiles and better understand how to work together more effectively. This turns DiSC® from a one-time assessment tool into a practical resource for day-to-day collaboration.
In addition, each profile on Catalyst™ includes its own learning modules that help participants not only understand their own style, but also connect it to real workplace situations and relationships within the team. Participants can return to the platform after the initial session to gain new insights, recommendations and ideas for more effective communication and collaboration.
Catalyst™ also includes group maps at no additional cost. These make it possible to see the distribution of styles across a team, explore where team members fall on key behavioral continua, and use built-in conversation starters both during the workshop and in the team’s ongoing work.
